Data Security & Encryption
Your data security is our priority. Here are answers to the most common questions about how we protect your information.
How do you protect my files and personal data?
At WeCleanYourData, security isn't an add-on — it's our foundation. We use the AES-256 standard (Advanced Encryption Standard) to encrypt all data at rest. This is the same level of security used by banking institutions and government agencies to protect highly classified information.
What does AES-256 bits really mean?
It means every piece of information is locked with a 256-bit key. To put its strength in perspective, a brute-force attack — trying to guess the key with supercomputers — would take billions of years to crack a single file. Your data is, by definition, safe from current computing technologies.
Are my data protected during upload?
Yes. We implement TLS 1.3 (Transport Layer Security), the most modern and secure encryption protocol for internet communications. This creates an armored tunnel between your browser and our servers, preventing any third party from intercepting or eavesdropping on the transfer.
Who has access to my data after cleaning?
No one outside the automated processes. We follow the Privacy by Design principle: data is processed in isolated environments and is deleted or re-encrypted immediately after refinement. Our staff has no access to the encryption keys that unlock your private content.
